Process integration

The thermal integration of various production steps in your enterprise is crucial. Raw materials eventually arrive on site at ambient temperature, and the finished products also leave the site around this temperature level. Between raw materials and finished products, there is usually a chain of heating, melting, further heating, evaporation, cooling, condensing, further cooling and solidifying. So why not use the product flows to be cooled as an energy source for the products to be warmed up?

On the basis of measurements on the existing plants, CEE first of all charts the heat and cold requirements, where necessary with a Pinch Analysis. This data is used to validate a process model in ASPEN. Then, on the basis of this process model, we look for the optimal integration level, understood as a good balance between savings potential and investment. The resulting concept forms the basis of further Detailed Engineering and the implementation of the entire project.
