Mechanical Design Engineer (Geel)

For our Geel-based Construction division we are looking for a mechanical design / CAD engineer who is bitten by the technical evolution within his / her domain (3D modeling, Scanning ...) and has the ambition to take responsibility for the design, development and follow-up of industrial energy installations.

If you are looking for a job in which you can gain loads of experience and make a substantial contribution to the further expansion of the construction workshop with possibility to evolve to a managerial position, then you're the person for the job !

Your responsibilities 

  • Meet on site with customers to further detail customer requirements

  • Designing (3D CAD/CAE: Siemens NX, Solid Edge) industrial energy installations (residual heat projects, energy recovery systems, energy efficient ovens, etc.)

  • On-site measurement of existing installations (3D scanning system)

  • Preparing and supporting the workshop supervisor

  • Quality follow-up work preproduction

  • Quality follow-up onsite

Safety, quality, accuracy and efficiency are always top of mind in every aspect of your duties. 

Profile

  • You have obtained a degree in civil or industrial engineering in electromechanics or equivalent through experience 

  • You communicate fluently and correctly in Dutch and English

  • Just like the other CEE engineers, you possess an open and confident outlook on life

  • Experience with 3D CAD software (preferably: Solid Edge, Siemens NX)

  • Experience in industrial welding & hoisting work or industrial assembly work is an ace up your sleeve

  • You approach each assignment with a trained eye and drill down into every single detail until you have a complete overview of the requirements.

  • You're famous for you problem solving abilities and resourcefulness amongst colleagues and friends.
