and the winner is ... Creative Goose Studios !

SBP award Rotary - UCLL

CEE congratulates Creative Goose studios on winning the Small Business Project (SBP) award presented by Rotary Leuven.

The SBP competition is organized annually by the Louvain division of the well-known service club Rotary in collaboration with the UCLL college and VlaJo (Flemish Young Entrepreneurs). The aim is to develop the entrepreneurial skills of college students by introducing them to all aspects of entrepreneurship.

The corona reality forced the participants and organization to take a different approach this year : a great test for out-of-the-box thinking! Meetings, presentations and awards were therefore organised virtually this year.

The jury, chaired by Koen Bosmans, CEO of CEE and Ray & Jules, selected 5 strong mini-companies in the final, each of which excelled by their inventiveness, diversity, social relevance or local roots.

Amongst the 143 participating students, Creative Goose Studios was declared the winner on May 18. This software start-up makes rehabilitation for young patients a lot more fun thanks to its VR game and at the same time increases the efficiency of the physiotherapists. In this way, technology is put to use in favour of socially relevant projects, a mission that CEE and Ray & Jules also share. Ultimately, it was also this mission that convinced the jury, but the diversity of the team and the scale-up possibilities of the product were also highly appreciated. The finalists had a nice cash prize waiting for them: 500 euros for the winning mini-company and 250 euros for each of the 4 places of honor.

Our warmest congratulations go out to Creative Goose Studios and the 4 other runner-ups of the competition. We hope that they will continue to develop their projects with the same enthusiasm!
